Which program should my child start with?

Modified on Tue, 14 Jul at 3:24 PM

The best place to start depends on your child's age and current reading level.

  • Ages 2–4 Reading Eggs Junior – Early learning and play-based activities that build foundational skills.
  • Ages 3–7 (learning to read):Reading Eggs – The recommended starting point for most children beginning their reading journey.
  • Ages 7–13 (already reading):Reading Eggspress – Focuses on reading comprehension, fluency, and literacy skills.
  • Ages 5–10 (extra phonics support):Fast Phonics – Provides additional phonics practice to support reading development.
  • Ages 3–9 (maths) Mathseeds – Builds essential maths skills through engaging, interactive lessons.

If you're unsure where to begin, we recommend starting with the program that best matches your child's current reading ability rather than their age.
