How to unsubscribe a parent from emails (previous or existing user with an account):


  1. Go to the parent's account in Salesforce.
  2. Click on the parent's name under 'Contacts'.
  3. Click 'Edit' at the top.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tick 'Email Opt Out'.
  5. Click 'Save'.
  6. Select 'Manage External User' at the top.
  7. Select 'Log into Community as User'.
  8. Once in the Parent Hub, select the parent's name in the top right corner.
  9. Select 'My Profile'.
  10. Click 'Edit' under the parent's details at the top.
  11. Untick 'Email me Weekly Reports'.
  12. Click 'Update'.


This process ensures that the parent does not receive any future email correspondence.
